The Lowveld Association  of Arts (LAA) is a non -profit organization that supports and promotes visual arts by Lowveld artists organizing exhibitions and workshops.

Also aiming to establish a permanent gallery for the Association.

The Lowveld Association of Arts was formed in September 2008. Founder committee members : Ilona Petzer (chairman), Annemarie Cornelissen, Nasima Bhayat, Jakes Labuschagne,Reuben Mpangane, Lynda Shongwe,Rob Mc Queen and Cathy, art HOD of Nelspruit Mica who served as director for the first year.

One of its aims and objectives is to send out newsletters , to keep members up to date regarding opportunities in the world of art ,to support and uplift artists in the region.
